While the main trunk line of a network is carried by robust Fiber Optic Cable, it is the precision and quality of the smaller components—the Fiber Patch Cord and Pigtail—that determine the performance at the vital connection points. These seemingly simple components are the essential links that connect networking devices, patch panels, and splice closures, and any compromise in their quality can introduce significant signal loss and network instability. We specialize in engineering these critical interconnects for optimal performance.

A Fiber Patch Cord (or patch cable) is a short length of optical fiber cable terminated with connectors at both ends, used for flexible connection within a rack or between a device and a patch panel. Our patch cords are manufactured with ultra-low insertion loss connectors, ensuring maximum light transmission and minimal reflection. We offer a comprehensive range of connector types—including LC, SC, FC, and MPO/MTP—with both UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) and APC (Angled Physical Contact) polished ferrules to meet varying network requirements, such as high-return loss needed in CATV and FTTH systems. A Fiber Pigtail, conversely, is terminated with a connector on only one end, with the other end left bare for fusion splicing to a main fiber optic cable. This fusion process creates a permanent, virtually lossless joint, making pigtails the preferred choice for permanent installations and backbone terminations in ODFs (Optical Distribution Frames) and splice closures. By focusing on tight tolerance control and advanced polishing techniques, our Patch Cords and Pigtails guarantee the reliability and low-loss performance required for gigabit and terabit networks, ensuring every signal arrives clean and strong.
